Perhaps he could elaborate how a "flying tsuki" (for lack of a better word) could be a yuko datotsu? Because I can't visualise it

my japanese colleague was suggesting throwing the shinai as ways to get an ippon i.e. tsuki target? technically he says it is legal if we met yukodatutso criteria(s)...i find it a bit hilarious....on the hind sight, i cant find any depiction that construed otherwise his theory.....
