TAIWAN Kaohsiung kendo invitation tournament

We are very grateful for your directions and advices successively extended to us in the past years, helping us develop and progress. In 2010,Kaohsiung City Kendo Committee will turn into the 45^th year since its inception and it will be the 5^th year in operation for the Kaohsiung City Kendo Culture Promotion Association as well. We plan to hold “International Cities Kendo Friendship Tournament” on March 20 and 21, 2010, and through the international tournament, not only we celebrate our 45^th anniversary, but also create an opportunity for us to strengthen and improve our friendships and kendo skills. The details of the tournament are attached below.

Details of Tournament:
The Kaohsiung Kendo Committee 45^th Anniversary, the Kaohsiung City Kendo Culture Promotion Association 5^th Anniversary, and the Asian Cities Invitation Tournament:

1. Activity title: Asian Cities Kendo Invitation Tournament.
2. Friendship practice: 14:00 to 17:30, March 20, 2010.
3. Friendship tournament: 09:00 to 15:00, March 21, 2010.
4. Location: Butoku-Ten, Kaohsiung City Municipal Athletics Gymnasium (BUTOKU-TEN).
5. Individual Tournament:
i. A Grade: Age over 50 (Men and Women)
ii. B Grade: Age under 49 (Men and Women)

6. Group Tournament:
i. A
Grade: Age over 50; each team can register 4 players with 3 for the
contest; change of players among registered ones for another round is
acceptable.
ii. B
Grade: Age under 49, each team can register 4 players with 3 for the
contest; change of players among registered ones for another round is
acceptable.

7. We will be responsible for the dinner party and the domestic transportation, including to and from Kaohsiung airport, city tour and transportation between hotel and gymnasium during the tournament, from March 19 through March 22.
8. Hotel
reservations: For our convenience to arrange for transportation, it
would be great if we could help make hotel reservations. The hotel charge is around NT$2,000-2,400 (US$65-US$80) per person per night.
