go to tozando.com...they are one of the reputable ones both in tokyo and kyoto....u can bring it back to malaysia by declaring it at the malaysian airlines counter and with proper paperwork...the shop will provide u with the necessary documentation...unless you are bringing in a live blade then that will be another story...for iaido i do not foresee any problem...then again i might be wrong...this is only based on my personal exp....u might want to inquire further from them...

Where to buy Katana in Japan?

Post by 斎藤 一 on Mon Jan 18, 2010 11:54 pm

Anyone know in which part of Japan famous of Katana Shop? Samurai Armor shop? Ninja equipment shop? Shinsengumi Shop? I would like to know :
1) Shop to look and admire only (as they are bloody expensive for branded Katana)
2) Shop to buy reasonable and affordable by Malaysian
Please share your info or knowledge.
And if you did bought it then how to bring into Malaysia?
