I change to 170 already, but still to big and long..

And the bokken set also forget to give me the tsuba, and the zekken is too small for the my tare lol every thing also got problem one....

You ordered from kendoshop.com? If you did, then there shouldn't be a problem if you order it height-wise.....you are 178, so if you order 180 it should be okay.

Frankly speaking I do not know much about hakama gi standard sizes.But if you sew properly it would still look nice.

I shall assume that probably each manufacturer has his own different standards? As long as it's not custom made, the manufacturer can't judge how fat or how thin, so make bigger better lor. Just in case mah. Like you said, alter. lol

I wonder is the Hakama and Gi got the standard for size or not?? last time the hakema i wearing is 7, than this time i follow my high to oder it. My high is 178cm so i order 7.5, but it is too BIG and LONG.

Why? I just follow the standard only, what's wrong?? Ok never mind I buy back size 7. today finally here, yes is smaller than size 7.5 but is also biger than the size 7 that i wering!!!

Why?? Is't it should be standard??? My high 178cm now i bought size 7 mean is high 170cm, why still too big??? now i need to alter it.....

Maybe it is just the kendoXXXX.com their size standard problem....can any one tell me...
