Doubt it. Most 5th Dan and above would go to Japan I think.

Most seniors grade during formal tournaments where there are sufficient numbers of senseis. Often, these are held overseas.

Ikkyu - Ipponme (1) to Sanbonme (3)
Shodan - Ipponme (1) to Gohonme (5)
Nidan - Ipponme (1) to Nanahonme (7)
Sandan - Ipponme (1) to Nanahonme (7) ; Kodachi Ipponme (1) to Sanbonme (3)
Note:

Not unless you are going for ikkyu which only requires you to do from 1 to 3.
