Recently I just got a new bokuto. And I already have 2 with me. So planning to give away one. (If you opt to buy, I wouldn't stop you either. ;) Hahaha)

Quality wise...nothing superb, just for ordinary usage. Dark brown except the hilt. Hilt condition is sand papered. Therefore the original wood colour for the hilt. I'll try to post up a picture of it later.

			<description>Dr. Gordon Warner, an American who has done much to promote Kendo overseas has passed away on the 4th of March 2010. He was born on 24th October 1912.



Truly a great kendoka, many still do not realise the contributions he made to promote kendo to the world. He was even awarded a medal by the Emperor of Japan in 2010 for bringing back kendo to Japan after it was banned by General MacArthur (World War 2). He was constantly doing suburi even on a wheelchair.

1. SHINAI



Most basic kendo equipment. A shinai is enough to practice Kendo to a certain extent. Consists of four bamboo staves bound together as one.

Ki is simply said as spirit. Internal it is your mental state and external portrayal by your kiai and alertness.



Personally I have difficulties with kiai. It's very soft most of the time according to fellow kendokas I practice with.

went through the various brands that we could use as kiai. That
