I have emailed Mr Yap, and he have told me everything, but the thing is that Bogu costs RM2500 is way out of my budget

Its our school Kendo club. Its the first school in the country to ever have a Kendo club under MKA. Started out in 1974. Trainings are every Saturday 8-10 am for beginnners (non-bogu) or 8-11.30 (bogu). Kendoka interested in joining our trainings should call in advance before coming. Bogu kendoka are very much appreciated to join our trainings.... we've only got 6 bogu members, and the rest (all 30-something of them) non bogu. It is pretty easy to make your own shinai bag and all you need is a nice (thick) cloth which can withstand the weight of not only one shinai (in case you have a bunch of them and would like to carry them to keiko everytime). Hello! Well this is my first post I guess. So, I'd like to say HELLO to all! If it's possible, could I ask where I can buy some good quality Shinai and even a Bokken in the PJ / KL area? Hopefully with some nice Tsuba choices and a Shinai bag as well. I did ask once from a JCKL member but that was a few years ago and I sort of forgot the address and location (somewhere in Ampang, I think) or even whether it's still there or not. I would normally practice suburi using a white oak bokken, heavy enough (for wood) compared to other normal bokken to approach a realistic experience of using a shinken. So far I still feel the lacking of the natural power from gravity as the shomen is being performed, so my sensei granted permission to try using a shinken.
